We are seeking a Level II Quality Assurance Inspector with a
background in PCB assembly inspection (PTH and SMT), preferably with IPC-610
workmanship standards and AQL sample plan knowledge. Cable continuity
verification using test jigs will also be a part of your inspection duties.
It will be the inspector’s responsibility to forward all inspection results
to the Quality Engineer each day.
In addition, the ideal candidate will have a technical background and will
be able to understand and assist as necessary with test processes. You will
also assist with corrective action, returned material and MRB processes as
required.
Finally, you will be working closely with the Quality Engineer in the
extraction of data from various points of the assembly and test processes.
Qualifications include the following areas:
3 or more years as an inspector in PCB assembly, Cable assembly and Test
process disciplines.
Able to use precision measuring devices such as calipers and hole/pin
gauges.
Knowledge of SPC, MRB, RMA, CAR and ESD practices.
High school education or equivalent, with a work related background in the
disciplines of an electronics based environment.
AA degree, and/or technical certifications are preferred but not mandatory
if background is commensurate with requirements.
